Motorola Brings Android to Korea with the MOTOROI


Motorola is introducing the Android platform to the Korean market as the company unveiled the MOTOROI smart phone running on Android 2.0. MOTOROI boasts of effortless pinch-and-zoom browsing, cinematic navigation through music, videos and maps of the world. It also allows users to use multiple apps at the same time.

With Android 2.0 running, MOTOROI will Koreans access to thousands of Android-based applications which are continually growing, thanks to Android developers and the Android’s openness as well. The MOTOROI features a huge 3.7-inch, high-definition WVGA display in 480×854 resolution. This allows easier way to view full page websites, videos, games and photos. This display features touch user interface and a capacitive touch sensor that allows smooth flipping and scrolling of the screen. The MOTOROI also has five main display allowing you to customize its menu with various widgets.
Since it is an Android phone, the MOTOROI is capable of delivering Google’s mobile services as well as providing high-speed web browsing. It supports up to eight browser windows and lets you use various Google mobile services such as Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk and more.
Other features of the MOTOROI include - 8 megapixe camera with Xenon Flash and 720p HD camcorder. Its camera also features panorama, face detection, multi-shot, face filter, red eye reduction, camera shake prevention and many more. The MOTOROI also features HDMI allowing you to playback HD video from your phone directly to your HDTV. It also has an MP3 player, 3.5mm jack, 8GB internal storage and microSD support for storage expansion.
